The Final Band Concert

The last Pride concert was tonight. Nana, Papa, and I watched as Derrick played his trumpet for the last time. This was also Senior Night when the Seniors were recognized and received their Senior blankets.

Derrick has been first chair since his sophomore year and was second chair his freshman year.

Mr. Beeby made an appearance and lead the band in the song that was written for him when he retired last year. It was very special and everyone enjoyed seeing him again. He was missed this year, that's for sure.
