We had Christmas with Todd's family on Sunday after Christmas. Bruce and Brenda and Vince and Sheila came in on Saturday. Instead of giving gifts among the adults, we decided to do something different this year and donate to a needy cause. We donated money to Living Water International which provides clean water to one person for a year for each .99 donation. The kids donated some of their money as well. We thought it was a great idea!

Grandpa Bob and Grandma Jane still gave each of us money for Christmas and a great picture of the two of them!

Bob is reading about the how the money helps so many in need of clean water and how so many die each year from drinking unclean water.

Derrick playing Guitar Hero on Wii. It seems like Bowling was the big game of the day. It got pretty competitive between some of the adults - You know who you are!

We had our Martin Family Christmas on Saturday at our house since Nana was still recovering from her surgery. Matt wasn't able to be here because he had to go back to work in OKC. Dakota missed most of the evening because he had to work too at Pizza Hut.

We watched the F ^3 video from earlier in the year since Chad and Amy hadn't seen it. We laughed all over again!

Derrick and Dakota were both gone on Christmas so we had our Christmas the evening after.

Santa also brought him covers for his Blackberry.

I picked Derrick up today and we met Chad and Amy in Oklahoma City for lunch. They told Derrick his Christmas present was that he got to pick out a Guitar! He was very excited!

After much searching and trying out different ones... this is the one he picked! The cool green one ~ Awesome!

Derrick spend Christmas in Texas with his dad this year so he missed the Martin Christmas. It was as festive and entertaining as always! The food was awesome and the Dirty Santa Gift Exchange was heated and lively as usual!

Jackets Play Blackwell

Jackets Take On The Blackwell Maroons

The Yellowjackets played one last game on Saturday night before going to Christmas break. Blackwell traveled to Fairview for what ended up being a tough night for the Maroons. This was also the 50th Anniversary of the Echo Dome.

Both JV teams won their games before the varsity games started. The Lady Jackets won 58-35. The Jackets came out playing strong and controlled the entire game and won 68-52.
