Bomb Scare at High School Yesterday

There was lots of activity at the high school yesterday about 4:30 when a bomb threat was called into the high school. Derrick was at basketball practice and had to be evacuated from the building. They had to leave everything.... keys, phone, clothes and hit the door!

The Rest Of The Story.... The bomb sniffing dogs were called in from Enid, then the bomb squad from Oklahoma City. One dog detected something near the media center but that ended up being an electrical box.

Then.... they traced the call back to New Jersey near a school called of all things.. Fairview High School! Further investigation found that it was made from a locked down psychiatric unit in New Jersey.

The kids were searched as they came to school this morning but the final analysis was that it was a false alarm. But it made for a LOT of excitement and speculation last night! Plus Derrick had to go an ENTIRE night without his cell phone!
