First Basketball Game of the Season

The girls and boys both had to fight for every point they made. Let's just say... the officiating was extremely partial to the home team and tried everything in their power to give them the ballgame. We would get the ball stolen from us and we would get charged with the foul. We would shoot and get charged with charging - all night long. There was one time when we were charged with 12 fouls and they had 2! I think that tells the story.
In spite of all that, and a very frustrating ball game we came away with our first win of the season. We won 46-39. The girls had a last second shot to win the game by one point. - Very exciting.~
Derrick got to play in the first, second, and last quarter of the game. He didn't score but he did an awesome job. I was very proud of him.
He came in at the last few minutes of the game in a very intense time when they were trying to foul to get us to shoot free throws in order to get the ball back.

Uncle Chad came from Weatherford to watch the game.
