Exciting Trip Home!

On the way home from the Heritage Hall game about midnight we were on 412 and all of a sudden came up on 6-7 black cows in the road! It was too dark to see them and there was nothing we could do but plow through them going about 70 mph!

We killed four of the cows and another was clearly not right. They were estimated to be about 600 lb steers. It was VERY SCARY! I was driving but glad I wasn't by myself! It took forever for the OHP to arrive and everyone was speeding past us. The scary thing was that we were stuck in the right hand lane because after the impact my car died.

The Explorer is totaled so I guess we're in the market for another vehicle. It could have been much worse than it was.

We are definitely counting our blessings!

We blamed the accident on the Krispy Kreme Donuts! If we hadn't stopped for the donuts after the game, we may not have hit the cows. But.... the donuts sure were good.
